Firstly I need to say I'm sure the product is good quality and the sales people were apparently very courteous and friendly... however..

Briefly..My elderly, but astute, parents (in their 80s) made the mistake of making an appointment. They wanted new front windows. The 2 guys were basically too friendly and settled down to wait and wear them down - they stayed 3 hours despite being told repeatedly by my parents that they needed time to think. The price quoted dropped from £17k to £10.5k over this period and would of course only be valid during the visit - they faffed around with their pcs saying they couldn't get in touch with the office (I don't think so...). My parents became desperate (tired and hungry and in pain) and eventually agreed to sign to get rid of them - to the great delight of the men.

We managed to intervene and persuade them to cancel, which they did successfully. They then had their windows very professionally replaced with a good quality product by a local builder for £2.5k - a quarter of the knocked down price!!

They were subsequently visited again by the sales person and also rung up by the sales team and were beginning to panic a little. But nothing further has happened.

Luckily they have got off lightly but I just wonder what would happen to a more vulnerable person. This just isn't right. I thought they were a reputable company putting in good quality windows for a high price, not an extortionate price. I'm very angry they like to prey on old and vulnerable people.

The Everest man who turned up at my door yesterday didn't expect the mouthful he received. He won't be coming back here!

Everest is my only choice due to their great service and professional approach always
Don’t know why making fun and criticizing everest would you provide me your address or real facts!
My family being using everest for more than 21 years now and we have never had any problems with their service products or installation
My brother had to cancel his order due to sudden leave for a job in Dubai, he asked everest to cancel his order for windows, and he got his refund 8 days due to the bank holiday
Coming back on 2nd August and already made an appointment with everest to get his windows as the rest of the family
What goes round comes round, please don’t give wrong information it’s not right, regards

We recently had an Everest rep call on us for a quote on a garden room conservatory on the back of our house. He arrived on time, sat down and asked what it was we wanted. Then he asked what our budget was. We said we did have a budget and, as pensioners, we would not go above that. Then he told us that as Everest are the best and all other companies use cheap products we would not get anything for less than £20,000. We told him it was a simple garden room type addition we wanted onto our property and were not prepared to pay anything like that and we had a limited budget. He gave the impression we were wasting his time and didn't even bother to start measuring up or even show us brochures or examples so my husband said "you're wasting our time so I'll show you the door!"
Good riddance to a bad rep. Needless to say, we will not be having a conservatory put on at all!

having had 2 installations by Everest I can confirm that they are "The Best", my high security front door has given my family instant safety and peace of mind, my beautiful conservatory has provided an additional, useable room that we are in week after week (whereas most cannot be used from one day to the next). I feel that it is only fair to balance out some of the other comments made (some of which seem contrived). Yes you pay a premium but you get what you pay for, quality can only come at a higher price, if you pay for a cheap product then do not complain when it goes wrong, what did you expect, in the end by the time you have spent money putting it right you may as well have spent more in the first place. My parents, Grandparents and in-laws have all had Everest and are extremely happy with the results. As far as I am concerned it's Everest or nothing.

I have just had another 6 windows fitted by this company and have to say I am delighted. I have now used them on 3 occasions and whilst I have had to get them back out a couple of times for minor repairs I cannot fault their service. I have made the mistake on buying on price over the years only to find out that the company I have used does not exist anymore when I phone up to exercise my gaurantee. My belief is pay a bit more and get peace of mind

After deciding that we were going to go for Everest windows (despite the rude and barely competent salesman) we paid a £2,300 deposit and awaited the survey.

The surveyor (after a very thorough 3 hour visit) said that the windows we wanted were not going to fit and we'd therefore be entitled to a full refund of the deposit. We were actually quite disappointed because the Everest windows seemed the best on the market and the price wasn't too bad considering this.

Three weeks later and no cheque, I get a phone call asking to arrange a second survey just to see if there was any way of getting the windows in. I said that it was too late as we'd now ordered windows from someone else and could I have my money back asap please? I was assured that it would be sent out.

Another week later and I get another call trying to arrange another survey. I told them that it was too late and where's my money? Again, I was assured that it would be sent out.

Another week goes by and I ring them up and am told that the cheque would be sent out asap.

Ten minutes later I get another call saying that they can't refund my deposit until another survey is carried out and the delays are all my fault for refusing the other surveys.

Now I have to wait another two weeks for a second survey before I stand any chance of getting my deposit back even though the rep promised us that if there was any problem with the survey then we'd get our money back asap.

Frankly, I'm hacked off with the lies and the excuses to keep our money for as long as they can. I'd urge anyone to seriously consider using this company as they've turned out to be a bunch of liers.

NO MATTER WHO FITTED THEM!
Helping people with problems or advice with thier windows, doors, conservatories or double glazed units, hinges, handles, locks, adjustments,
Small friendly and reliable business setup to save people money (to repair rather than replace)and to bridge the gap if your guarantee has run out, or the company that supplied them has went out of business........
