I've used Apple a couple of times now. I was a little hesitant to begin with, as you tend to hear a lot of bad things about glazing companies. However, so far I am really happy with what they have done for me.
I used them initially for some double glazing, and to replace our front door. Their fitters were all very professional and curteous. They were quick, and tidied everything up after themselves.
My wife and I decided recently to go ahead with our plans to add a conservatory to the house and after getting quotes from a number of different companies, we found Apple were cheaper... and they came up with some great ideas on how we could maximise space!
Fitting was great, again they were very professional and we enjoyed having them around. The finished result is perfect! Just in time for a hopefully sunny few months!!
I would definitely recommend Apple Panels on to any family or friends!!
I used Apple when I needed to replace my windows and doors a few weeks ago. I was a little apprehensive to begin with, as you hear so many bad reviews about window companies - but I decided to go with Apple, and I must say, it was a VERY good choice. They were very helpful, and talked me through the whole process. They had a wide range of windows to choose from, and I got a good deal on the overall price.
The fitting only took a couple of days, and they tidied up when they left. My house looks so much tidier with new windows, I really am very happy with it all.
Had windows and doors fitted by Apple, the materials were not up to scratch or fitting. Gaps round doors and windows. Over the course of a year, we had the Front door adjusted 5 times by apple and third parties. The door just does not fit and we had the letterbox removedbecause it was faulty
Windows adjusted several times by Apple and third party. Apple even did some work they said would help to correct the issues and it ruined the look of a window, they then said I approved it when the engineer cleared it with the area manager that I said don't do it if it's goign to ruin the window. It did
On and on for over a year, I even had to send my wife and kid to her parents when we lost gas because we couldn;t keep the house warm with several electric heaters. We've ended up with mould on the walls of two of the worst offending rooms.
We then had Apple saying it was our house was at fault. They had attended my house more than ten times and third parties more to fix the issues and were not prepared to do any more.
Luckily, we used finance and used them to get a FENSA inspection..... yes, the installation failed and they now have to come back and do lots more work like replace windows, relace the front door, properly seal the windows, adjust the french doors... loads more work.
Fitting, materials, customer care absolutely appalling. As for Apple and the imact to my family and I in all this, means nothing to them, near enough cowboys, been going through all this since May 2009 trying to let apple redeem themselves.... to little too late.
Absolute Rubbish
very impressed with the work they did for us. they kept us up to date and cleaned up after themselves when they fitted the windows. polite and friendly team who were very cheerful.
Apple Windows and Conservatory's as they say on the radio.
We had a quote from another company, which was good and we signed up to, until their surveyor came and it turned out they couldn't do it for the price.
We phoned Apple that day and the guy turned up that afternoon, Martin, and went though the initial quote.
We signed up.
When the fitters turned up they were the most efficient, professional and clean working guys you've seen. 1 window busted during installation which was replaced a couple weeks later.
We do have one negative comment which is that the 2 pairs of doors to the garden which we wanted to be the same for asthetic purposes turned up as different sizes, and were fitted before we realised the size difference but, hands up, these were confirmed with us prior to the installation, you know how it is when you get a load of paperwork bumff. We accept we should have checked more carefully the order.
I would reccommend this company to do your windows every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
But check what they think they're going to do and what you think they're going to do.
