Honest Rewiew after being with Authorised Publications for my advertising needs after a few years now, I cant say anything other than iv had a all round good service and im talking about 5 star or at least 4 star plus service. As for art work design quality and cost I cant really fault it and I am quite particular. Iv also had a lot of interest and clients gained from the adverts too.
I cant recommend Authorised publications and the various Care Guides they publish highly enough really, they dealt with my advertising needs extremely efficiently and correctly.
On a final note, Cost and Value for money is a major plus with Authorised publications and I must say Im a very satified customer.
As a GP Practice we are finding the Self care guides very useful not only for patients but also for GP's and nurses who are able to locate self help numbers quickly and efficiently.
We would like to recommend for future prints if the advertisements could be place together at front of book or back so self help and number are available quickly. otherwise an excellent resource, much appreciated.
please send a few more copies as we have 5 GP and nurse at practice.
P.s Our other practice might also be interested at Oakleaf Medical Practice
Just had my copy of the Community Care guide through and im well chuffed with my advert. Looking really good. Thank you very much Authorised Publications.
I am pleased to have come across and used Authorised publications.
I have been in the past paying high costs for my advertising space, however I got a very very excellent deal for a full colour page in the Community care guide back in october.
I was rung by a member of staff at authorised publications, who were excellent in helping me decide what would be best for my advertising needs and would help me to increase my business income.
Then shortly later I had a call from their art department, Alex who was very professional and done a fabulous job, especially as I only had limited material for him to work with.
I recommend this company especially the Care Guide I went into highly, they dealt with my advertising needs extremely effectively, and since my adverts have gone out I have had a fair few enquiries and gained new clients.
I would like to thank this organisation and recommend them to companys that have like myself have been paying over the top prices for advertising for ages as the prices with Authorised Publications are fabulous for new and small business's like mine.
Thank you for the Community care Guides we received today. The publication is well presented and an excellent resource, bulging with useful local information for the service users and visitors who attend the day centre and also employees who live in the area.
I have had some very positive feedback from both groups.
We would welcome additional free copies in order to distribute to the wider audience.
Sorry, I think I got your address wrong. Here is my request again.
Dear Richard,
We are in the process of organising our second 'Opportunities Fair' which is a relatively new event in East Finchley which aims to provide local residents with access to employment, education and volunteering opportunities whilst at the same time promoting a range of local business and community orgnisations. The 'Opportunities Fair' will take place Friday 10th February, between 1pm to 5pm, at the Green Man Community Centre which is located on the Strawberry Vale estate in East Finchley. The Peabody estate has 270 flats and houses, providing homes to approximately 800 residents.
I have read your Community Care Guide and think that it is a great resource for the residents of Strawberry Vale, providing exactly the range of local information which we want to ensure they have access to. Which is why I would like to order copies to display dring the Opportunities Fair and distribute around the estate. Last Year approximately 300 people visited the event, and I am hoping that it will be even bigger and better this year - which is why we are increasing the number of stalls that we have available, and will be inviting a wider range of organisations to take part.
The address is Green Man Community Centre, Strawberry Vale, East Finchley, N2 9BA
The Centre is usually open between 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
Never replies to your attempts to get in contact.
Publishes fake positive reviews from fake companies.
Passes your number onto similar "publications" who won't stop calling to offer similar "Deals".
Then, by all means, go ahead.
Luckily, I did a bit of research & found that half of the positive reviews here & elsewhere are either from companies who have never heard of these people or that don't exist.
A Google search for any of these terms (from previous reviews) should help you make up your mind:
Don't exist. Do they? Quite the coincidence!
That's just a small sample.
Feel free to take the URL from other email addresses & search for them before you hand over any money.
Any of the legitimate companies mentioned in previous reviews have never heard of Authorised Publications & in one case didn't even have a company email address in their database for the person who had written said review.
Anyone I've spoken to that did hand over money has complained of zero distribution or recurring adverts & payments that they hadn't agreed to.
CUE A PLETHORA OF GOOD REVIEWS ABOVE THIS ONE TO TRY & COUNTERACT WHAT I'VE SAID.
But don't hesitate to check the company website the reviewer claims to be from. Or to call any legitimate company you happen to come across.
I'm sure they'd be more than happy to hear that their name is being used illegally to bolster the reputation of Authorised Publications.
I was spurred on to write this negative review due to the fact that AUTHORISED PUBLICATIONS are very convincing. A Google search reveals very little.
I would suggest anyone affected in any way to write a review (even a few lines)& include the term AUTHORISED PUBLICATIONS so that it shows up in search engine listings.
It might help others avoid making the same mistakes.
FAO: AUTHORISED PUBLICATIONS feel free to get in contact if you think anything written above is unjustified.
I can be contacted via email or phone. But I now accept carrier pigeon, since both email & phone contact have proved difficult with you in the past.
Or via your solicitors: Gilchrist, Khan & Simms.
Tell them to send a letter to my solicitors:
Perry, Mason & Bergerac.
Or My business legal team:
Ally, McBeal & Shatner.
I think all 3 firms share an office.
In your mind...
Very impressed with the overall experience of having dealt with this company. Especially the talents of a gentleman called nikki in the art department. Very well done, the advert is great and iv had a bit of feed back already. cheers nikki Il be in touch when I require the rebrand logo.
Dealing with this company was overall was a very acceptable experience. All the artwork and designing was all inclusive of the cost that I paid and nothing seemed to be an issue. The final proof and actual magazine was very good and given what response iv had back since the scg has gone out to its distribution destinations, I think that I can say that i will use this company in the future and will also recommend it also.
Just had to say a BIG thank you Authorised Publications!!! It's such a shame that knowadays its so difficult to find a company that values its customers, so as soon as i dealt with you had let you know!!!!
From the moment i contacted the very helpful sales team I was then passed onto my very own desinger who designed a BRAND NEW corporate identity for me/ my organisation, which looks great and can use in all my marketing/ press literature. I couldnt believe after i contacted a larger marketing company just how much they wanted just to design a logo!!!!!
Please contnue with the great work and as i speak I am still in contact with the design team who are designing me leaflets aswell!
ThankYou!
It was a pleasure dealing with this company and I can safely recommend this company and the Care Guide magazines which i advertised in over the last few years, they dealt with my advertising needs well each and everytime. Since our advert has gone out, things have picked up one hell of alot.
Its certainly a very very tough job finding cost effective advertising these days.Thank you for the wonderful advert and contacting me. I hope that my experience so far is one that will be continue. Oh and thankyou so much for the great logo Nikki.
Thank You once again Authorised Publications. I have and will continually use you to either go into the magazines or producing marketing literature for my practice.
I am also treated like a person rather than just a number rather than some of the larger advertising companies i've used previously.
Also, in my opinion when I have gone into the magazines on the odd occasion they did come out a month late but through circumstances whch were beyond there control which were very forgivable, sometimes things dont go exactly to plan but one GREAT thing is it is always quickly ressolved by either the distribution and admin team!!
We have had many good experiences with this company. We have Placed ads since 2009. The quality and getting the right publication is key I think when it comes to advertising and the first time we advertised we was slightly worried that the mag wasnt going to be that good given that we paid less than we normally do for advert costs. We was wrong thankfully and have used ap ltd ever since.
We have used a fair few different magazines and guides that this company produce and print and I think some are better than others.
The publications we ve used are:
* The Self Care Guide (STAR MAG)
* The Community Care Guide (STAR MAG)
* Hospital Watch Magazine
* Your East End
* Just Family
* Child Safety
I have high lighted above the magazines that I found the best in both value and quality with (star mag). But I have always found dealing with them a pleasure overall and we will always us them in future I think given that it is cost effective.
Im very happy to have used and will continue to use this print company. Iv read a few reviews on this site and in all fairness I found some of them reviews quite entertaining.
Authorised publications were very helpful in my case and I have to say I thought that I would say a personal thank you as my surgery has only been running for 18 months now and my budget for getting the word out was not what one would call huge.I recommend the Self care mag very highly indeed and since it went out I have had numorous new clients gained. I would like to thank the team for all there efforts.
I placed a advert in the Self Care guide back in march this year and if possible, Could you please pass a big big thanks onto the sales and art departments.
I was contacted by a member of the sales staff at authorised publications who were very very helpful indeed in deciding what would work best for my marketing needs and future area coverage expantion.
A few weeks later I had a call from the production/art department who were very helpful and even designed a revamp of our company logo for me. Iv seen some indifferent reviews on this site but I can only talk about my experience.
I would like to say that i could not recommend this company highly enough really as they dealt with my advertising extremely efficiently, and also id like to thank andy for a wonderful advert.
Merry Christmas to all at Authorised Publications.
I was contacted earlier in the year from this company, where i placed an advert in their magazine. I was then contacted shortly after to ask if i wanted further advertising at a reduced cost as someone else had cancelled.
I was then contacted regarding the artwork, then have heard nothing since, although i have attempted to contact them on many occassions.
There was no evidence of any magazines ever been published. I agree with all the negative comments on here and would strongly advised anyone to stay away from this company.
After no response to any of my communications I recieved a demand for payment, i again tried to contact the company - again i had no response.
I then recieved a call where I was spoken to agressively and unprofessionally, they threatened me with legal action, then hung up the phone.
I was then contacted by Henriksen Limited shortly after stating they were working on behalf of authorised publications.
I proceeded to seek legal advice, as well as speaking to the authorities. I have been advised by trading standards I am not liable for any payment as the company have failed to uphold their part of the agreement.
I have researched this company and found professional websites advising people not to communicate with the company.
Well I find Fred Norman's post entertaining as well. He says his practice has only been running for 18 months and yet look at the website there are Newsletters available dating back to 2008 - rather more than 18 months ago......
Oh, and there is no Fred Norman on the 'meet the team' page either.

I completely understand your concerns, however I do feel that working with us could lead to bigger and better things for you. Maybe there is a way in which we can make you more prominent throughout the community with a view to being a Batuka instructor on a more permanent basis.
I do feel that there are a few things that could help you cope with demand for Batuka classes. Most community centres across the area have halls available for people to rent out for a low cost. Should you build up some demand for the classes, the session fees that people would pay to learn from you would easily cover any expenses. Prices for Zumba classes in your area range from £4.00 per session to £10.00 per session. I think people would look to pay around the same price for Batuka.
Whilst we are trying to point out to the community that this is a way to get fit and healthy whilst enjoying your work out, we are also actively trying to promote business' and are working in your best interests. It is important that people who advertise with us gain exposure and profit from getting out to the wider community.
Based on what you have put in your email, I would be more than happy to lower the cost of advertising within the CCG. Our target is to help the community and you, so reducing the cost is an easy decision for me to make.
This is copied and pasted from one of Gary watt´s emails to try and convince me to post and add.
Now this is an email with the dessigner who started to change everything that Gary Watt promised meI have found your reference number and attached a proof copy of your advert for the new edition of the East London Community Care Guide Magazine.
The publication is due to go out in the next couple of weeks, so you will receive a proof copy of the magazine shortly.

Honest opinion from me is very good value for money if your used to paying the rates some companys charge. Last year I payed over a grand for my advertising and this year half that but I gotta say that had more from the Self care magazine this year than last years waste of money by double. So in my opinion, give credit where credit is due. So well done authorised publications you have gained a new regular. On the condition that prices are not massively increased next year.
"CLAP YOUR HANDS IF YOU KNOW YOU'RE HAPPY"
Now that's my husband and me, very surprised about some of the comments on this site as we have advertised our nursery within 2 magazines and have just readvertised, Our nursey has only been open for 20 months and I can recommend advertising with this company as we are totally full with a small waiting list. And as we ask all of our clients where they got our details from we know that we got our money's with many times over from advertising within the Just Family and Community Care Guide, all I can say is that we have taken out smaller size adverts this time round but that's due to us being full and we don't want our waiting list to grow to much. I would be more than happy for anyone to contact me if they wish. Many thanks authorised publications

I cant recommend this company and the Self Care Guide highly enough, they dealt with my advertising needs very very efficiently, and since it has gone out foot flow has really picked up quite alot.
I would like to recommend this company to other companys that dont have huge budgets for advertising as the costs with Authorised Publications are excellent in my opinion.

I was contacted by a member of the staff at authorised publications who were very helpful in deciding what would work best for my companys marketing requirements.
Then 3 weeks later I had a call from the design department who were great and even designed a company logo for us.
