18 months ago my daughter went to one of the Shock Talents audition events at a hotel in Bolton. The manager rang us later and told us she would definitely get work and if she didn't he was in the wrong job. Weeks went by and I heard nothing after I paid £175 to them. I rang a couple of times to enquire and got fobbed off saying she had been assigned to jobs but they were waiting to here from the businesses. When I next spoke to the manager I was accused of being aggressive which is totally untrue. Since speaking to the photographer they hired he told me that they are a con. The photographer was never paid for all the work he did which was well over £1000. The photographer was inundated with calls from alot of people who had paid for the photo shoots who had never been given work even though they had been promised. The photographer advises me that others have been accused of being aggressive and this is a common stance the manager takes as an excuse to not give people work or hope they will go away. This company is a con steer clear at all costs!!!
Ps I am not a bitter person for my daughter not getting work as she is adorable, I just think what this company is doing is completely wrong!
