Comments:

We have been Infiniti members since they started.
Their accommodation really is 5* and we have had many good holidays with them. Also have always said that annual maintenance fees were very high.

We have just come back from 2 weeks at their platinum resort at Vera Beach in Almeria in Spain.

While there we were told by one of their sales reps (alias customer care people) that they have a new scheme to offer. If we were to buy more points - we already have enough to stay for 6 weeks a year so were not thinking this necessary - we would only pay half the annual maintenance fees!!!

As I see it this means that (using an example of round figures) if I have 100.000 points and pay £1,000 every year in maintenance, under the new offer, another person could have 100,000 points and only be paying £500 a year in maintenance and get as many weeks as I do for half the annual cost. Add to this the number of years we would already have paid Infiniti at the full rate, it does not sound right.

I cannot see how this would sit well with people paying double what someone else is. There is also the fact that these people will also be in a position to now book more weeks so who gets priority, those paying full maintenence rate or someone paying half as much?

I would be interested in hear from other Infiniti members on this subject.
