We called out Aspect for an emergency since the tenants in our house had had their gas switched off by the gas board due to the smell from an apparent escape of gas. The engineer diagnosed that the Pcb and gas valve needed to be replaced. They ordered the parts and the engineer who subsequently came to replace the parts took half an hour to read the notes (for which we are paying £50 per half hour plus Vat) the previous engineer and check with the office since he didnt believe it was the correct diagnosis. He fitted the valve and pcb but three months later there is still a smell of gas and the latest engineer from Aspect turned up without the right equipment to measure the level of gas escaping explaining that he is sub contracted and 'doesnt have enough money to get this equipment repaired'!!! We are now being charged another £167 for the second diagnosis and have no guarantee that the suggested work will sort out the problem. Not a professional outfit at all and I will never use them again.
