the worst place ever! terrible customer service and terrible service all together!
Took my car for a service and all I'm told by a youg chap is that "there is a rattle" "wipers are slow" yes , can you tell me the reasons for this??? as I start questioning him he just leaves the room after raising the tone of his voice!! Seriously, £154 to have them telling me there's a rattle!??? I could have told them that for free! And did they bother letting me know the car was ready? Of course not, is up to me to call to find out! But I have complained to the head office by phone, email and am waiting to operations manager to call me back. This is not the end of it. Enough of them ripping us off just because they have a well known name...

took my car to kwik-fit ipswich on 20th dec 2010 with a slow puncture.Waited for approx one hour befor my turn. Noticed a young member of staff trying unsuccessfully to reverse my car which was rising up at the back because the handbreak was on. I watched him repeat this process for about six times and was just about to go out to him when he finally reversed. Sometime later I was called into the service area to be shown my tyre which had a slit on the wall. In all my years of driving I have never seen any tyre accidently damaged in this manner. When questioned the youth said that I had probably run into something. I was not satisfied, but reluctantly agreed to the replacement of the tyre. About ten minutes later I was once again called to the service area to be told that my handbreak was not working. I queried this fact and by way of a demonstration the youth spun the hub to illustrate that the break was defective. He then suggested that they should investigate further to which I replied - no thank you there is nothing wrong with the hand break. I departed and immediately tested my handbreak - it works perfectly. I have been very upset over this incident and have just complained to consumer direct - who have passed this complaint unto trading standards. My advice to anyone who feels dissatisfied as I am to follow the same route. Only in this way can we bring to the notice of the relevant authorities our complaints

RIP Kwik Fit. Just seen the watchdog report of how they've been ripping off customers. The end is nigh and not before time. Too big, lack of control...

I went down to our local KWIK FIT (Whitehaven) and asked for a tyer check, which was promptly carried out, and to my joy "they are all good, a few month left in thoses tyer's" and was told if a book an MOT on line it was only £35 , so i did two days later, so dropped the car off, and then a phone call, "you have two tyers that need changing" what was my reply you have just checked them and said they were good, yes but we have a different method of measuring tred for MOT's !!! so they must have sent me back on the highway ileagley ?? or is this new method so special only when you get an MOT can they force you to buy new tyers off them,or risk being fined by driving your car on the roads, very strange and will never trust the name KWIK FIT again, and nor should you

I recently had MOT with Kwik Fit which failed on the centre peice exhaust. They told me to call following day for prices as it was a V6, which i did,i was told i had to bring the car back even though they just done a MOT as they were not sure which part it failed on (how ridiculous).
I reluctantely took the car back as they said they can order the part and fit same day, once there they then said they dont know if they could do it which was not what i wanted to hear.Very poor service and i will never use Kwik Fit again, i now have to pay for another MOT elsewhere as these incapable morons cant do a simple job. I suggest you do not waste your time or money with these incapable idiots.
