Where to start ?
Well I was advised by NHB that survey fee would be £495 whcih had to be payed prior to a quote being given to which I said no , I was then given an offer of the survey to be £100 so I said YEs . My property was worth approx £90,000 and they gave me an offer of £68000 which me and my partner decided to accept. They will send a valuer from a local estate agent round to have a look then an actual surveyor about a month later, at this point they reduced their offer by £8000. We continued with this although not happy in the slightest. Their solicitor took his time with the paperwork the week we were wanting to move we were advised he was missing paperwork from us and sent us yet another questionaire and we were forced to put the moving date back only 2 days away from moving this was. The week after we were advised by NHB that he was awaiting his local authority searches which he had only just applied for and they take 7 days to come back so they knew we would make the original moving date way before we were told no.(Which cost us in removal cancellation). Now last week on the day we were due to exchange they called to advise since WE had taken so long to complete that the price was no longer viable and they wanted to drop it by 10%to £54000 !!!! We agreed to a £2000 decrease but then decided to pull out of the sale. Strangely they didnt seem too happy about this. Not a happy time at all dealing with this customer would strongly recomend not to deal with them !!
