The kitchen is extremely good value for money! Homebase quoted me the same kitchen for £9000 i got it for £1200!! It wasn't plain sailing but I dint expect it to be at that price - but I'am extremely happy with my new kitchen...for the £8000 i saved iam glad i went with them.

Just an update for the score I gave earlier (was a bit cagey because the kitchen wasn't fully fitted). It's now all in and working.

I'm very happy considering the £2000 I paid for a new kitchen (£3k including redecoration and fitting). Much of it is a bit poor quality but I wasn't expecting much else for £2000. But it all works well and looks great.

I'd advise not bothering with their fitting service (as with many places you'll get a cheaper quote and better job talking directly to a fitter). And just don't expect to get a top quality kitchen at a stupidly low price - know what you're buying and you'll be much happier with the result!

Seeing the flurry of bad reviews here has made me think to at least put a dissenting opinion. Although I can't be 100% positive, I do think the prices are very good here. We've just bought a medium sized kitchen for £2000, including full set of appliances (oven, hob, extractor, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, sink & taps). Having spent a long time looking at options, I know that's a lot less than the 6k starting price of a quality kitchen of that size.

The initial plan drawn up by the fitter had some mistakes that I pointed out and got corrected. One thing I didn't notice was that although he'd drawn the worktops right, the parts list had 3m worktops only - our main one is 3.5m. I called up and got this corrected over the phone. The delivery arrived two weeks later than promised, but I tend to ignore delivery dates promised by salesmen anyway. It actually arrived quicker than I expected. The delivery had CDA branded fridge/freezer, when I was expecting Necht, so I'm fairly pleased with that, but the worktop sizes were still wrong, and the plinths were also the wrong size. I rejected delivery of those bits and knocked the prices off the balance. They're easy enough to replace from B&Q anyway.

I've yet to live with the kitchen, but if everything breaks next week I'll be back to give them a low rating instead!

I think the main thing is to be aware of what you're buying. It's not a quality £10k kitchen at a magical price, it's a rubbish £2k kitchen that costs £2k and doesn't leave lots of money for great service! But if you're after a £2k kitchen, there's nothing wrong with what I've got for the money.

You are numb! before paying the driver anything how about you open up the boxes and check everything, its not rocket science! thats why my kitchen is perfect with no outstanding complaints!

Blackpool, thank you to you all for your comments, I think I have had a lucky escape! We paid a deposit and ordered the kitchen but today have been in and cancelled the whole thing, will loose the deposit but I think that is a small price to pay rather than being completely ripped off. I am not sure if you are all aware but they actually expect you to pay cash or bankers draft to the person delivering the kitchen - yeh right do you think I am that stupid? It could be anything in those boxes to beware and remember if it sounds too good to be true it probably is .... oh and how many show rooms have you been too where the sales people all look like thugs??? Just food for thought! Dont waste your money on this company you will only get stung in the long run.

Still waiting for granite tops after 6 weeks,Becky from delivers should be on the stage, excuses range from granite lorrys caught fire, been stolen, failed mot test!
Have been in touch with Doncaster Trading Standards who send a couple of templates to use, have sent first last week, notice of legal action will be sent Tuesday then sue through small claims court. The ironic thing is that our kitchen is quite good quality,am I the lucky one?

 jordan58 at 14th Nov 2009, 06:42AM
Has anyone got anywhere trying to get their money back through small claims court, as this is what I am goint to have to do!

 Laurab at 4th Nov 2009, 12:10PM
Are now trading in Stockport.

Please do not order from them ..I made the mistake of ordering a kitchen from them and the quality is sooooo poor, the doors are all diferent sizes. The Kitchen gut who measured Joe measured it wrong. Incorrect parts delivered. half of it is missing and no one at the company cares or seems to have the authority to put it right. I cannot get through on the cust services number, Chris the "manager" says he will put things right ......and dosent. I guess if it looks to good to be true it usually is. Please do not get fooled like me the showroom is full of people complaining.

I live in the Republicof Ireland.I saw an ad in the paper for MFI in administstion, and that they needed to sell designer kitchens at low low prices. We contacted the number.A guy called Keith came to our home last night 22th October 2009.He measured up, gave us a discount but said that he needed a deposit in sterling,we gave him the Euro equivilent.I stumbled across this site and now Im more that a little worried.I dont know what consumer rights are when you deal with companies from a different European country.Do I kiss the money goodbye ? I dont think so, for I will catch up with this Company if they try to con me .

I recieved my kitchen last week and is nearly fitted. We wanted a cheap kitchen that looked really good, most of the units were decent condition although i noticed the end panels and boiler housing plus one of the worktops were slightly chipped, but have installed them in hard to see area's. Upon opening the last few boxes I also had some items missing - the extractor hood had the chimney part missing, the 500mm pan drawer has been sent in the wrong colour plus no screws at all for any of the door runners or cupboard doors. I had the same experience of trying to contact customer services, tried phoning many times over the last few days and also emailed the director with no reply. The sales line don't want to know and are rude.
If anyone has ordered any of the appliances like I did ten and your having some issues you'll notice the brand names NECHT and CDA. Phoning NECHT gets you no where either. I phoned CDA based in Nottingham on 01949 862000 and they said they will send out the missing part. My advice is unless you having issues with the actual units don't waste your time ringing Kitchens4Less cos they'll never answer. If its appliance troubles and its by CDA give them a call on the above number.
Overall i've been fortunate not to have had bigger troubles than the rest of you, but although the kitchen will look exceptionally good for the price i wouldn't advise anybody to buy a kitchen from them because of the extreme poor customer services. Sounds like if you don't get your units you'll never get them or will have a headache dealing with it.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE Dont use this company! They have a showroom in Blackpool which is where we ordered our kitchen from.We were told it would take a week to fit but they didn't book in the fitters so I had to get my own.6 weeks later and 3 days before Christmas I just had an empty room that was once a kitchen as half the cupboards were missing, faulty or just the wrong size. luckly my fitter Stephen managed to get the basic shell in so I could cook Christmas dinner. From start to finish it was a nightmare, I could spend ages listing the problems but you would give up reading half way through its that bad. After standing outside their showroom and putting off possible customers, sending letters,65 phone calls, arguments with unhelpful ignorant staff, threat of court action, my kitchen was finished(6 months).I was refunded some of the money I had paid. To boot the sink and door handles have now gone rusty! BE WARNED!

 greamoul at 20th Oct 2009, 09:29AM
I just rang them to cancel my appointment and they asked when they should re-schedule it for, i said never, they asked why and i explained that having read reviews of them on the net i do not wish to give them any business, the girl asked what did i mean, i said there are lots of reviews saying how awful your company is and so i do not wish to do business with you, she replied and you believed them did you, i explained that it gives for compelling evidence when hundreds of people concur on how rubbish they are. she told me she would tell the managing director, i hung up.
I found their postcode if anybody still needs it DN5 8PT.

Thank again to you all,

Shelly

we have also been sucked in this by this company. we had a salesman visit our home, he was very plausable. he said if we signed up there and then and had it fitted within the next 16 weeks we would get massive discounts. he even told us that he had sold a kitchen to his own mate(who needs mates like that).we were asked for a deposit of £150 cash or cheque.someone then phoned us about a week later to ask for a delivery date,as we weren't ready i asked them to phone back mid october. our plummer

i have just found out about this company from my plummer. we have been sucked in aswell. the salesman was very good, he even told us that he had sold his mate a kitchen the day before.(with friends like that who needs enamies) he said if we signed up there and then and had it fitted within the next 16 weeks who receive massive discounts. he asked for £150 deposit either cash or cheque. we then had a call about a week later asking us for a delivery date as we didn't have one i asked them to phone back mid october. i am going to fax a cancellation tomorrow and if they want to take it further, bring it on. i feel sick i cannot imagine how others feel who have parted with thousands of pounds of hard earned cash. i will post any further developments.

 elaine1965 at 5th Oct 2009, 07:28PM
We have had all the same problems as this and cant move into our own home, they are very quick to take the money ( only cash ) but once you find a problem no matter how big or small there is no one you can report this to and you will always find a problem!, in 12days i have never had a call returned and never got through to customer services, please please no one fall for this like we have, names that they run under are kitchens4less and the cheapest kitchens in the world! along with many others, We have had the worst few weeks and still not even a call back! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a kitchen from a company called Kitchen Dreams. When the guy arrived the paperwork he used was titled Kitchens 4 less. Since having the kitchen delivered it appears we have one unit and a door missing, also the extractor unit was the wrong one. All of the units were of a shoddy quality and the worktops were damaged with small chips in a few places. They were also bent making it difficult to join. I have been calling this company for over a week now and just getting a busy recorded message. I then called the sales team who told me that someone would call me back and never did. I did think it was a little strange that the guy who came around insisted on cash upon delivery of the items. It looks like Kitchens 4 less have now changed their name to Kitchen Dreams of Oldham so be warned and avoid this company like the plague. I am now going to visit the Trading Standards to see if they can help in this matter.

I purchased a kitchen from them in Aug, it was delivered 2 weeks late, with missing doors, damaged doors and the wrong sink and taps. I have since tried to get in touch with them for replacement items and cannot get hold of them. They dont answer the phone, emails or letters. I have has to move out of my home because it has no kitchen in it.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Hi out there,
I have just seen a small advert for this company in our local free newspaper on the Wirral. I rang the number a few minutes ago and spoke to a very young sounding girl. I then decided to 'google' the company and this is how I found your website. Thanks very much for all the comments , I only read a few but soon got the gist! My wife and I have been down this path before with a company called Redsave who took us for a couple of hundred quid but over a different set of circumstances.

I think I have fell for this con as well. Looking for a kitchen so searched for a kitchens on google and submitted for a rep to come out from cheapestkitchensintheworld.com. Anyway someone came out from kitchens for less which I first thought was abit strange but anyway I just thought that might of been there siter name. The rep came out on the 25th August and took a £200 deposit and said I would have my kitchen in a week. And guess what a week went and it never came, so I phoned the number on the invoice they didnt have a clue and gave me two other numbers. One for deliveries and one for customer services, which you can never get through on. I then continued to phone the sales number off the invoice and they are very rude, I told them to get the rep Steve to ring me which he never. I kept ringing them and they just fob you off with a excuse and it very hard to get anything out of them. After leaving alot of messages on the reps phone that day he got back and said stop panicing you will get your kitchen .He then told me he had not even put the plan in and he was going to the next day which is today and I would get a call. All day today I am ringing him to see and no answer SURPRISE SURPRISE. So I have been left with sales number in Doncaster which is a complete waste of time as I am in Liverpool. Steve told me there was a place in Oldham where the kitchens was coming from when he came out and I can go up there if I needed anything extra. I have been doing alot of reading and I imagine this company is linked to rock solid kitchens. I believe the mill burnt down in April, have they got another place where they work from. Guess I can kiss good bye to the £200.

well its now august.i wrote to them twice threatening them with trading standards, got no reply from either letter.i forgot to mention ive had no contact from them regarding a delivery date of my kitchen,so ive gone somewhere else.
ive also contacted doncaster trading standards, rogue traders, watchdog and the daily mirror investigations team.
i advise you all to do the same.
ive also started proceedings in the small claims court,im determined to get mu hard earned £200 back plus compensation.
go through the right channels, with the letters then go to the small claims court, let bring em down.
