We were looking for kitchen doors to match existing MFI ones. Came across mfikitchendoors on the web, looked good so ordered five doors. Smelt a rat when they would only let me pay by cheque. Doors arrived wrapped in bubble wrap and were absolutely awful, scratched, chipped. Would only exchange if I paid the £48 charge to return. Drove 400 mile round trip to Oldham and received 5 good doors still in their boxes but the place didn't fill me with confidence and I was just grateful to get out with my doors

I lost £200 for a deposit.
It was a joke kitchen was going to cost £495. until they came out... Then it was the same as the rest. Just under £2000. Took £200 deposit and given about 4 different dates then the truth came out.
They lost the supplier and I lost my deposit. Be warned after reading the blogs I may have been lucky. Pay the deposit on arrival and find out later you paid for a kitchen with problems.
I have phoned and phoned til I could phone no more.
Fiona was the one that came out, They have others as she had her boyfriend with her and he works for them as well.
Please keep your money. Go else where as these people don't deserve to be in business. Rouge Trader Bcc 10th feb showed this firm... Why could I not of seen this before....

Over the year i have phoned them threatened them, e-mailed them with no avail. I have still to get my worktops and handles for the units. Last week they suddenly phoned me and said that they would deliver them at the weekend guess what they did not show up. I even sent them a recorded delivery from citizens advice and they did not reply to that. I am fed up and dont know what else i can do can anyone help me please.

PLEASE DO NOT EVER use this company It is just about the worst experience of my life and because doors are missing and they will not answer the phone I may have to buy another kitchen They should not be allowed to trade and I do not understand why they still are reading all the negative feed back

please dont use this company they are a total joke. my kitchen got delivered on the 9/6/2009 to start with the 1000 base units were just pieces of contiboard cut up. no pre-drilled holes just a bag of screws and brackets no instructions. the larder unit did not fit together right. the center shelf was lobsided also no doors were provided to fit this they sent 2 pan drawer fronts which were no good. all the doors needed the screw holes drilling out and the units also had to have the holes drilled for the hindges. the cooker that came was a cheap and nasty cooker with rusty hindges. The sink wwas scratched and offered a cheaper replacement but no discount. plubing the sink the piping under the sink didnt fit together properly i had to make several trips to try and get things sorted out.so please if anyone has a deposit for a kitchen with this company forget it i would rather loose my deposit and pay proper money for a decent kitchen.

oh my god i got my kitchen from this company about six months ago and its fantastic aswell as being a third of what i was quoted anywhere else. i even managed to stretch to granite worktops which i love. as i remember the only things missing when it came was a door for my dishwasher and a shelf which followed on a week later. when my parents got their kitchen from magnet it took them weeks to sort all their problems so i think this company deserves some support for everything they do get right.

Don't buy anything from this company. We purchased our kitchen through one of their salesman/designers and parted with a cheque as deposit of £50.00. The kitchen arrived at 8pm with one person delivering the goods. It wasn't until our independent kitchen installer arrived three days later that we realised there were so many things wrong with the parts supplied. Bits missing from the cooker hood, no part numbers to order replacements from anywhere in the UK. Sent 12 faxes and hundreds of emails - still no one has called. I've even tried to purchase the outstanding items as complete units, but no-one returns my calls. My advice is qo to B&Q/IKEA/Wickes at least you know what you are getting and paying for and if there are any problems you can take the goods back for a full refund. This company shouldn't be allowed to trade and I have contacted Consumer Direct and Watchdog to see if they can assist me. Cheap is what they are and Rock Solid they are not.

I too happened upon this site after paying a deposit.
I called them and said they would not be getting to balance until we were sure all of our kitchen was there.
After the 'hoodies' had delivered we checked the boxes (we should have looked inside), there were drawers, carcasses missing and the oven was damaged.
On subsequent calls I have been told to email which will be answered within 21 days.
You are basically on your own as they have no after sales service and do not attempt to help.
It is only our good fortune that we employed a superb kitchen fitter who made this work with the aid of our old carcasses etc.
Do not buy from them unless you have the time to improvise.

We can't all be wrong! Anyone tried small claims court? Any luck? because after reporting them to trading standards Oldham this is my next step as I have had to buy goods to get my kitchen finished.

I also have bought the kitchen from Rock Solid on 19/01/2009 and Sales Rep promised that kitchen will be delivered on 21/01/2009 Wednesday 11:00am, but he did not put the delivery date on T & C. he just wrote ASAP in date box. I asked him can I call Kitchen fitter on Wednesday he said yes you can call him and Kitchen will be at my door by 11:00AM. I trusted on him and I arranged the kitchen fitter and we been waiting and about 4:00pm we received call from Rock Solid for arrange delivery next week. I got crazy and same time I said her I want to cancel my order as it was promised by your Sales rep that kitchen will be delivered on 21/01/2009. It was verbally agreed by Sales Rep that if he fail to deliver on 21/01/2009 then I have right to cancel the order and he will return back my £100.00 deposit. After all again I called and asked Managers detail and reception refused to give his/her email/contact details and asked me that send them cancellation letter. I am going to take a legal action on them if they fail to return back my £100.00.

I would like to ask whoever facing problem by them we should all to gather take a legal action against them. This is my email address ghulam.mallah@btinernet.com.

Or we individual can send a letter to our local MP. We need to draft a nice letter for MP and take to them court.

Also know as Sale Price Kitchens - advertising on Gumtree.com

I also decided to buy my kitchen from this company after they advertised ex-MFI Kitchens and the price seemed very cheap. The rep turned up on time, but didn't have any samples and ouldn't understand why I would want to see a sample of the door that I was interested in. Anyway, I called the company and they made an appt. for the following Saturday for the same rep to come out and show me samples, but on the day it was a different rep that turned up. He had the door sample and he proceeded to plan my kitchen - badly! Even though I felt a bit pressued, I decided to go ahead anyway - the cabinets seemed to be good quality and though I wasn't impressed with the rep he assured me that I could make changes later, I refused most of the appliances by Necht as I didn't know the brand and wanted to investigate it before making a decision, I have since found out that they are rubbish. I offered to pay by credit card because of the protection you get and didn't want to fall victim to the company going bust, but he refused and insisted on cash even suggesting I go to the cashpoint, this just added to my uneasiness! In the end he had to settle for a cheque. I have tried calling the company today without success and everything I have read here combined with my own uneasiness about the rep made me decide to cancel the cheque.

I presume they will now threaten me with legal action and perhaps it would be possible to raise a defence with others who are in a similar position.
