I had a bad experience with Peter Sergeant. He spent a day here and due to advising us about and ordering the wrong finish he was unable to fit some taps. The finish is chrome but he ordered nickel. This is someone who claims to have been in the business for 30 years.
A sink he said he could repair he blatantly bodged leaving silicone everywhere and despite my request didn't clean up after. He didn't cover/mask the Italian marble surface and worst of all because of his heavy-handedness he cracked the front edge. Why not just tell me it's unrepairable? Instead I am now faced with a job to replace the marble which will cost me hundreds of pounds and a great deal of time sourcing men and materials.
I only noticed this after he had left. I left him a message suggesting he give some of the £200 back to me. He sent me a cheque for £94.25 because he had deducted parking. I only received this because I threatened legal action. Considering the inconvenience he is putting me through I thought this was both mean and audacious.
DO NOT USE THIS BLAGGER. He does not have the skills to do the jobs of which he claims to be capable.
I'm truly gutted that I let this man mar my lovely house. If you value your home do not allow this person across the threshold.
