Primark is fine. Until you want to return something. Then they turn into rude staff who ignore you, shout at you.
What happened to me:
I bought a pair of tights (which they put a bit of card in which often cuts into the tights)
I opened the tights to see that there was a catch all the way down them.
I went into the shop to return them, and immediately, the staff member turned to her manager and said "what do you think?"
The manager, not even acknowledging I was there said "no" then walked away, I called after asking "why no?". Since the manager was gone I asked to speak to another manger, which took 20 minutes (their explanation for making me wait? they had to walk up four flights of stairs) Who just asks the staff member "what did [other manager's name] say?" she then says that although she is higher than other manager a decision has been made.
I (remaining calm) advise her my statutory rights and of the Sale of Goods Act, to which her response is to call security to escort me from the premises. Their explanation for this? I was holding up the queue of other customers.
Take a chance if you want to shop there, just don't expect to be able to return anything ever.
