paid £3650 , for a suite , they assured me it was their best quality , 24 months later the stiching is coming undone , customer service inform me its not covered as it is over a year old , and adamently prevent me from speaking to a manager , the suite is in a second lounge with little use ,i expected a suite at that price to be faultless for at least five plus years (even in a main lounge) my advice is buy elsewhere this is a company with very low standards

We were told untruths from the start; the salesman told us the sofas were hand made in Hillington, not true, only the cushion covers were. The sofa we got was a cheap sub-standard import and not quality checked before being delivered to us, otherwise they would have realised that there were NO cushion covers.....
We have been complaining for almost 6 months now and still do not have a full resolution; they fixed (not very well but at least better than it was) our original complaint, the interior workings of the arms had collapsed, even though they tried to claim wear & tear - after 8 weeks - what type of quality products do they sell?
Whilst repairing it, they managed to damage the leather and the feet, the leather has been repaired by an independant company (very well I must add) however we still are waiting on the rest of the repairs.
Customer service is not exactly the best, no call backs, you have to continually chase and if you express any emotion in your voice (I'm not even talking about shouting or bad language) they accuse you of being rude and refuse to spek to you. I am also very worried that no-one is willing or able to tell me who the manager or managing director of the company is.....why would this information be hidden?????
If you are looking for a new sofa, I would not recommend you use Instyle, they are not the best for value or quality - I know I am not alone with my feelings on the service that they provide or the experience that I have had. Maybe one day soon they will keep their promises and rectify the damage that THEY caused to, which is now, unfortunately, my property.......I live in hope!

I worked for this company for a very short period. I did not fit into the business primarily due to the fact that I had some serious personal issues at the time. Blagger is a good site for those to vent their anger at poor customer service. Its rare to see anyone give positive feedback on this site . I have to say that for those that have had issues with Instyle there are a far greater percentage of customers that have enjoyed exceptional customer service. Instyle offer a unique range of products sourcing products from all over the globe. The director of the company travels far and wide to seek out modern and quality furniture so that his business can be one step ahead and as far removed from DFS etc as he possibly can. I empathise with all that have had issues with Instyle or any other retailer however its not a perfect world we live in..... If you treat those in customer service with the repect they deserve you will in return receive the service you expect....as the meerkat would say...Simple..!!

I can't tell you the stress I have experienced with this company, not to mention the inconvenience of having repairs etc! My suite has had 3 faults and has a sagging problem and they refuse to do anything other than repair fault 3 only. They also continuously advise that the faults are due to customer misuse, which is disgusting!

I've written complaint letters, tried using trading standards, and had legal advice, all to no avail. My only option is to take them to small claims court now!

PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
