I spoke to the head of credit management this morning about the fines they keep applying. I told them my correspondence address and that all letters should go there. But they say because I only told them the correspondence for one of the flats (because I own two, next door to one another) they will not send letters to the correspondence address for both flats. So after the charged me £300 in fees for the first flat, they continued to send letters to the other flat knowing full well that we would not receive them. I spoketo the idiot who is head of credit, and I have never been so insulted in my life. He shouted over me, and then had the nerve once he got off the phone to email me and demanded an apology! Then after I responded asking for his superiors contact details he provided me with what I think is a false name, and continued to insult me within the emails. Previously I said I would make payment within a week. When I mentioned a grievance against his name he said I had 24 hours to pay or they would charge £295 for a land registry search and bailiff charges! What a company. Tell me what you want to do to shut these guys down and I'm behind you 100%. Ive looked on other sites and apparently they had to change their name to pier and other sub companies because in 2004 they were put on watchdog and investigated! I am disgusted that people can get away with taking my hard earned money. Who on earth let this company set up in the first place. If I can do anything to help shut them down please let me know burit2@hotmail.com
This company wrote to me claiming falsely that my lease prohibits subletting. It even quoted a section in the lease which does not even exist to support its claim and demanded monies from me as a result. It followed up these claims with a bogus court looking notice containing the crown insignia, which is reserved for the Crown and Courts and used illegally by others. It demanded hundreds of pounds from me.
I am currently suing this company for damages.

I've just started to experience nasty tactics by this company. I bought a flat about two years ago. They never sent me an invoice for a six monthly ground rent (£25). Two weeks ago, suddenly a bill for nearly £500 arrived with arrear charges, etc. I wrote to them explaining the situation and requested them to send me a correct invoice. They ignored my letter and have now sent me another bill. Judging by what I have read about the experience of other people, this company will carry on charging additional amount at an accellerated rate until the time comes when one wants to sell the property. At that time most people will pay up. Clearly this nasty company, acting on behalf of Waterglen Ltd, is commiting fraud and getting away with it. I'm collecting as much evidence as possible to expose them, including a local and national campaign. If you have similar experience, please respond and contact me.
