"Cheapest Kitchens in the World" are the same as "Kitchens for Less", which are also related to (and possibly the same registered company as) "Rock Solid Kitchens" and "Kitchens" in Oldham.
Like most other people here, my kitchen turned up incomplete and it is impossible getting through to customer services to resolve the problem. You can get through on the sales line, but they just fob you off and are rude to you to get rid of you.
And they lie too. And if you ask any questions like "What is the name of the company director/owner?" she goes "Er... er.. hang on.. its [made up name]".
I researched these jokers on Companies House, and checked all their domain registrations on Whois.net. Nothing matches up. Lots of trading names, but very difficult to identify who is the company director. According to posts on this website it's a guy called Vance Miller. But he's not listed as a company director on Companies House. It's all very suspicious.
IN SHORT: DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY WITH A BARGE POLE (unless it is to beat someone round the head with it)
Hmm when we signed the cheque for our depsoit and asked the designer who we made the cheque out to he said "rock solid kitchens, oh no sorry, I mean kitchens 4 less" My Husband asked if there was a connection as we'd heard bad things about them and he said no, that he just used to work for them and he left because they were a bad compnay who ripped people off! Seems a bit of a coincidence though eh! Just so you all know kitchens 4 less is the same company as the worlds cheapest kitchens.
absolutely agree and are the same company as kitchens 4 less or rock solid kitchens...you pay for what get, I've learnt this much.
And to be fair, the kitchens they have are really nice, just that every single door, cupboard carcass, tap, sink. splash back, work top...and I repeat, every single item is damaged in some way, and from my experience its been badly smashed, lightly scratched, missing or cracked? and theyre supposed to be brand new??? I really dont think so...
cant stick MFI but wish I had gone to them instead and paid the extra - and no I'm not a competitor, MFI is over the road from my house and not 50 miles away leaving us very stuck.
Although this company advertise extremely cheap kitchens on line they actually don't have these kitchens in stock.I'm refitting a letting property and was looking for a cheap kitchen so made the 100 mile round trip to check out their store. I was disappointed by the limited stock on offer and there was no sign of the cheaper kitchens advertised on line.
I had to ask the salesman about the £450 complete kitchen which they make quite a splash about in their on line advertising and he had to go to his car to get the details. In the folder he showed me a single sheeet of A4 with typing on it..no pictures, no details nothing in fact, t was a kind of take or leave it approach, I got the distinct impression that he wasn't a bit interested in my business. As he was turning to the back page to show me another offer, I noticed Rock Solid Kitchens publicity and asked him if they were part of the Rock Solid Company..his whole demeanour changed, he denied any involvment with Rock Solid and was anxious to close the conversation asap. He did tell me that if I wanted the kitchen then I'd have to go back with £200 cash deposit, funny because that's exactly what Rock Solid do,he also told me that they would charge me £700 to fit the kitchen..because he would have to pay for hotels for his fitters!! Awful service, couldn't care less approach, and obviously ashamed of the connection with Rock Solid
If you don't know anything about Rock Solid Kitchens, I'd suggest you read the posts on this site.
