they promise that they have people waiting to ring about your car – still waiting for a single call like many others commenting on this site!!
*they use that they will advertise on 220 websites as a big selling point - these are newspaper sites in England, and when you query it later they say it is just a added bonus not what you are paying for!!! even though it is used as a selling point at the original call.
* you will get your money back - yes you will in the form of a Credit note not refund
* their deal about the weekend away - it says in the small print - you are obligated to pay the minimum daily amount for Breakfast and Dinner, even if not taken, for each person each night of your stay.
* they tell you that your car is worth more than you are selling and to ask more, just be careful it is not over priced.
when they call you they are very helpful and nice men, when you have signed up this all chages to cheeky and VERY unhelpful
they make it sound very good and worth it, but really you are just paying £129.99 to advertise in England on a site that most cars are slightly over priced.
save your money and go with the more well known companies that don't need to ring you for business. if they were that successful of a sales company they would not need to hound you for business.
the same happened to me. i had my car in the on a number of websites in ireland. then i got a call from a guy saying he was calling from easysell uk. he said he had a number of buyers in ireland which wanted 2 buy my car. i had to pay a £129.99 deposit to insure that i would show the car to there buyers. he also told me that i would get the money back if the car was sold to there buyer because they make there money from the finance which they lend the buyer. also i would get my money back if the car was not sold within 28 days. NOTHING TO LOSE he said. i paid the deposit by credit card over the phone. i've been with easysell uk for nearly 7 weeks now and i have not had 1 phone call from a buyer. when i phoned to get my money back after a month they told me that it would be a credit note not a cash refund. i was not told this when i signed up. they are very misleading. i have contacted my credit card company to try and recover the money. i would advise people to stay well away from this company.
i advertised my car in the cbg. within 24hrs i had a call from easyselluk saying that they had buyers looking for my make of car. they also said that they have lent the buyers the money to buy my car. in order for an introduction to these buyers i had to pay £129.99 and when the car was sold i would get a refund because they make there money from the finance. also i was told that if the car was not sold within 28 days i would get my money back. i've been with easyselluk for 6 weeks now and i have not had one single call. when i called to get my money back i was told that it would be a credit note . can anyone help me get my money back?
