| Vardis | When it became clear that Vardis were not what they seemed, I wouldn't give them the time of day on the phone. I approached Forresters who confirmed that their contract was the subject of a Charities Commission investigation. Then I went back to Visa (I had used a Visa card to pay Vardis's bill) and filled in a payment reclaim form with a full description of what had happened, including a mention of this and other websites. Of course, Vardis didn't try to challenge this and the money was refunded to me. If you haven't paid, then don't; and if you have, then get it back - it's your money, not Vardis's.
